        The new watch link also maintains the double-security link (or DS) technology upon which Certina built its sterling reputation during the '60s. The system is made up of a thick O-ring that link fills the space between the movement and the case, protecting it from shocks. The movement essentially "floats" inside the case and cushions any blows.
