The Tourer uses link the Miyota caliber 9039 which helps keep costs down and Baltic feels confident that it was the right choice for "robustness and reliability." The movement has a 42-hour power reserve which seems like plenty for daily wear. It might not be the most accurate caliber but link it's one that brands often call on when they're looking to keep link prices accessible. Frankly I think it's a fair trade-off.
