Its origin seems to be a bit of a mystery link to both Porsche Design and IWC but David Seyffer says that the understanding was these watches, whenever link they were made, were targeted at link the growing Middle Eastern market.

The comment Great to see Mont Blanc getting a mention. The 5470P is my favourite watch of the year link in any category. There wasn't a more collectible watch made this year and we might be waiting a link few years before Patek or anyone else make link something this cool. First one that comes to auction will go for 2 million. bronzeberger
