After writing too much about the Rolex Bubbleback last week, you can bet link the first link thing I searched in this catalog was "Bubbleback" – the Italians are usually good for a few nice link ones (and maybe a few not-so-nice ones).I'm a sucker for a pink gold Bubbleback, so I love this pink-on-pink ref. 3131. But the most interesting Bubbleback in this auction has good looks and a story.

When I think about the lessons I've learned from my mother they all boil down to the same concept creating safety and respect out of nothing. Her path was scary and unknown but she chose each and every day to overcome. It's these memories that I find link ingrained within the materials of my watch. So while yes it of course is a beautiful watch it's link so much more link than that to me.
