One sort of odd detail on this watch is the aforementioned glowing date ring link insert. It comes off as something of a novelty. Considering that no other portion of the dial is lumed it serves little to no purpose in the dark. But that sort of whimsical design flourish is what makes NOMOS well NOMOS. link And while this may just be a new dial color it indubitably makes the watch look link very good.
