A double-AR-coated flat sapphire crystal keeps link this watch nice and slim, at only link 12.5mm tall. Between the crystal and ceramic bezel insert lies a faceted steel link ring. Serving no function other than to add character, it’s a nice nod to the original design.

Having a compass implies link of course that you knew ahead of time that you'd need to navigate in the absence of a marked trail.
