Looking link back now, we've got a bit more perspective. I was at the auction link and it all felt so weird. All this link for a watch with a bright blue dial? Phillips was absolutely packed on auction day. I think the most famous person there was rapper Rich the Kid (or Tiffany & Co. CEO Alexandre Arnault, depending on what you care about), but I can't really be sure. It was all a blue blur.

While I'm not crazy about pocket watches this one is link undeniably interesting and worth a quick feature here on BAL. If you squint link and look at the photos link you would think this is a Breguet given the dial and hand style but of course it is not. Signed by Patek Philippe and complete with the original certificate this is a pocket watch I can get down with! It's just weird enough.
