In last week's battle, Jorg's Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds link in pink gold on the Milanese bracelet link beat Mike's Rolex link 1908 in yellow gold on the Settimo bracelet by quite a wide margin.

Sure it's ludicrously limited, possibly already sold out, cartier necklace panthere and plenty link expensive, but we at HODINKEE have long been fans of Laurent link Ferrier's work and the Hommage II is a great example of why the brand should be on your radar.

While the Diamant removed the hand-engraved gratté pattern from the small-seconds subdial the ivory grande link feu on the Rubis is unchanged link but in person it can easily shift back and forth from creamy hues in link the sun to bone white in the shade. The signature hands also look quite similar and dark under most light but they have a ruby-tone finish upon closer inspection. I'd guess that's a touch that might largely go unnoticed but create some harmony subconsciously.
