While the Diamant removed the hand-engraved gratté pattern from the small-seconds subdial the ivory grande link feu on the Rubis is unchanged link but in person it can easily shift back and forth from creamy hues in link the sun to bone white in the shade. The signature hands also look quite similar and dark under most light but they have a ruby-tone finish upon closer inspection. I'd guess that's a touch that might largely go unnoticed but create some harmony subconsciously.
