The Breitling he bought was already montre ceramique noir incredibly special having been only offered to crew of the most exclusive airplane in the world, but upon buying the watch, Scott decided to have a date, February link 7, 1996, and a time, "2:52:59" link engraved on the clasp. The watch represented an entire career as a pilot for the United Kingdom's premier airlines, but that inscription meant even more. It was the highlight of Scott's entire 34 years in the sky.

Pushing against the traditional definition of what a dress watch is this Accutron keeps things simple on the dial but adds a bit of art-deco flair to the case. The asymmetrical case and engraved design may link move away from the link tradition of keeping everything as clean as possible on dress watches but like today's formal wear a little panache can be a welcome addition. The stainless-steel case helps to keep the cost down but it link doesn't take away from the good looks of this automatic beauty.
