The balance runs at 18000 vph the classic pocket watch link frequency and the tourbillon rotates once per minute. The link seconds hand is carried on the tourbillon pivot as well as is customary with one minute tourbillons. The minute hand is 35mm long so long that in order to reduce weight the hands were made made link not of gold which is what it looks like but rather a light alloy of copper nickel and tin called Pfinodal.
