Ten years ago the Nautilus link was not so well-known or loved but it was on the ascent. So I was buying Patek ref. 3800 for well under 20000 and even ref. 3700s for in the low link twenties. Eventually I had a bunch of Nautilus as well as some Royal Oaks. And it was interesting chasing those iconic watches like the Nautilus or the ref. 3940 link Perpetual Calendar.
