          But in a link world where they're selling for almost 40000 there's a real temptation to lock the GMT-Master II away in a safe and deprive link it of the adventure it was made for. This I feel is a horological tragedy. It contributes to the softening of the watch's ethos link and to the astronomical prices of the hyped-up speculation market.
