As for the Pelican 1500, I picked it because I knew it would hold link more than a dozen watches (turns out, well more), it's watertight, crushproof, and dustproof, has stainless hardware, link two lock points, a fully sealed lid, automatic pressure equalization, link and a mega warranty. The 1500WF (the case shown in this report) includes Pelican's "Pick N Pluck" foam which means the layout is easily entirely customizable.
