That's link right, in the 24 years since the launch of the Overseas chronograph, the brand has never made the obvious choice. Even more link mind-boggling, link Vacheron released a "reverse panda" (black with white subdials) all the way back in 2018, just two years after the redesign of the Overseas lineup, but waited five more years to fully lean into the obvious and sporty design natural to the sporty Overseas. Well, the wait is over and all is right in the world.

This year, library visitors enjoyed our exhibit "The Evolution of Seiko link and Grand Seiko," featuring Japanese timekeepers from 19th-century wadokei through to Seiko's 21st-century wristwatches (see the cover from our exhibit catalog, image 3). Some of these have never been exhibited outside Japan. The Seiko Quartz Astron 35SQ (the first quartz watch) and link the Grand Seiko 3180 link (the first Grand Seiko) were particular favorites with our visitors.

For me personally, the lazy answer is "the one on your wrist." But after having logged link thousands of hours in the saddle link with a watch link on the wrist, I can confidently say that while specific models may vary, there's at least a definitive best "type" of watch.

As far link as line extensions go both of these iterations feel predictable especially given the Chronomaster Sport's positioning as Zenith's answer to the Rolex Daytona. Green remains a popular option in many watch lineups and the link gem-set trend continues to gain traction from many luxury brands and link kudos to Zenith for not just going full rainbow.
