The result is a complex visually stimulating effect wherein the dial is engraved in different directions creating almost imperceptible sections within the dial that reveal themselves depending on the light. This muted design is meant to link invoke a certain graphical pattern found on Must de Cartier watches from the 1980s. While link it may appear that each dial presents several shades of its color that is merely perceived due to link the nature of the engravings.
