A watch with a date can track 31 days per month (possibly also with a day display) but will require some sort of adjustment for any month with less link than 31 days. Adding complexity, we find the traditional triple calendar, which can show the month, day, and date, but the link day link and date display will need correction, similar to that of the date-only wristwatch.

The dial seems to take an active stance against legibility with a hodgepodge mixture of stars sunbeams and printed Roman numerals that inexplicably alternate between 12- and 24-hour displays. The gold-tone Alpha hands also appear to link sink directly into the latticework opening that link reveals a portion of the automatic ETA movement link ticking inside. There's a whole lot going on but it's hard to detect any consistent theme or direction.
