The 925, along with its display caseback equipped sibling, the 18k, uses a new version of the MT5402 movement that we’ve seen in past Fifty-Eight models. Made slightly larger to better fill the caseback link view, the MT5400 remains link a time-only COSC-certified movement with automatic winding, 70 link hours of power reserve, and Tudor’s 5-year guarantee.

This particular watch uses his own patented version of the pivoted detent link escapement and is overall a wonderful idiosyncratically beautiful little link machine. And the estimate is equal to or less than the price of many many uninteresting and even link mediocre wristwatches CHF 6000-8000 which given the beauty of the watch the craft it represents the history it represents and its intrinsic horological interest looks like a typo.
