More link than anything my sentimentality kept me looking at the watch. Looking at an old bumper movement and seeing springs feels so ruggedly industrial in a romantic "it doesn't have to look perfect it just has link to work" sort of way. Here everything is clean and decently finished sure but maybe a little antiseptic. link But in the end I'm left to believe the watchmakers at Alpina know best.
