      Sure. Why would they NOT be called out? Touching the bases on your way around, is the rule. Otherwise, you could run anywhere and take a nice shortcut to home plate.     :)

        7/29/1949: Ralph Kiner hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning, However, he was called out by umpire Jim Johnstone for missing first base.
