How to get a boy to like you (without compromising your values)

1.  Keep yourself clean.  That includes your language!
2.  Don't be a jerk in class, on the playground, or anywhere else.  That means being loud, vulgar, aggressive, a showoff.
3.  Be friendly and sincere to everyone.  Don't set yourself away from others by being part of a clique.
4.  Get the best grades you can. Play sports if you are able, join a club that interests you, and volunteer when the opportunity comes up for something you enjoy.  If you worship regularly, keep going. 
5.  PARTICIPATE in life.  Don't be a "wallflower" and watch everybody else having fun.
6.  DO NOT DRINK, SMOKE, or USE DRUGS.  DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH A BOY EVEN IF "EVERYONE" ELSE IS DOING IT. 
7. Be friendly with Ethan, as you would anyone else.  If there is a group event coming up, invite him to be part of the group (that way you can talk with him, and get to know each other better).
8.  Be respectful and polite.
