    In 1999 I wrote to “any solder” and actually exchanged letters with a guy. No longer is it acceptable. Letters to “any solder” are trash now.  Feelings?

    Many kind gestures are no longer allowed due to so many nut bars in our society who only wish to hurt others. It's a shame.

    Perhaps WRH would accept a box of signed cards in open envelopes that had a short note and good wishes added to the card message.  


    There are many wounded warrior and veteran services who welcome communication; it's important to keep it open and available for scrutiny.  

    Once there was a scam scheme to give money to the unknown soldier's widow. A woman said 'That's ridiculous, she gets a pension from the government'.
