                Maybe it's cracked, you bit down on something hard, there's an infection, or you have a cavity. A competent dentist, NOT LIKE THIS ONE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVn_2gSH6hE                  can determine why.

                  Dental caries I suspect. Only a visit to a dentist will reveal the reason.
