Interesting, I am waiting for a part for our Amana bottom freezer at moment. Both have Whirlpool parts. We found long wait times at most on-line parts companies, (2 wks.+), finally SearsParts.com can get our thermostat in a week! Good luck... You can remove the thermostat, bypass wire it, and use an appliance timer to shut and turn off refrigerator, and it will get you by till part arrives. We have ours on 3 hrs. and off 2 hrs. in continual cycle.
