    My ariens mower starts at very high speed and wont idle down...what should i do?

    One day it was fine and the next when i went to start it the engine sounded like it was about to explode

      It sounds like the governor is jammed.They get clogged up with dirt & grass clippings.Take the top off the engine & look for a white plastic butterfly wing.Blow all of the dust out of it & it should be OK.Hope this helps.
