Thank goodness for the good old British NHS.

I'm happy to pay our additional tax on everything so I can have "free" health care. I can't even imagine what it's like to pay for a doctor visit, hospital stay or to try managing a chronic illness.      :(

Oh, I’ve heard stories…… I went to the doctor today and my insurance was charged $15 for a finger prick, something I do 4 or 5 times daily on my own.  I offered to do it for them but they turned me down.  Hungry I guess……….

That's disgusting!

That is truly outrageous.  Insurance is a real moneymaking operation.  I haven't been to the doctor's office for anything this year; just had a 6 month checkup and will be paying for the whole thing, as it is all applied to my "deductible".  Sadly, the day is coming when I'll be costing Anthem a fortune, I'm sure.
