It could be pain in the outer aspect of the ishial- tibial band.That can hurt from your hip to your ankle and including pain in your ankle
Or, it could be shin splints. Or , it could be sciatic pain. I've had all 3 . But, we're not here to diagnosis. So, go to your family Dr for starters; and maybe he / she will direct you to the proper specialist.
