    My dad used to sing that song, "Ain't she sweet" to my sister and me.  He always had the biggest smile when he sang to us.  Funny songs, like "Hallelujah, I'm a bum!"

    mycatsmom - that's the one. hector5559 and yes I am sure it was use in a film apparently - also sung by Frank Sinatra and The Beatles - old yes 1927 written by Jack Yellen and Milton Ager. This was sung a lot here post-war although from the roaring twenties.

    My cousin , Mike used to sing that when I was a kid- - -in the 50s. He was 13 years older than me. I don't know where he got it.
