It'll sit on top of my old monitor. I've got an old computer that uses windows and XP and all that jazz. My question is.......does the person that I'm sending a live moving pic of me and audio to---also have to have a web cam to see me and talk to me live on the internet ? Does their device have to be a similar model of web cam to mine? Guess I should buy Web Cams for Dummies, if they have it on the market . Hope you can help me.

Hey MCM,,I have a microsoft webcam,about $30 new,i also have 2 logiteck speakers also about $30..your speakers should just plug into the back of your computer ..because you got your camera new. the drivers should download with it when you hook it up ..if you download Skype which is free,Skype will show you how to hook up and test for sound and picture..if your friend is on skype also,it does not matter what brand of webcam or speakers they have, just so long as they have them..skype has a lot of features to let you talk to people all over the world,one or both parties can turn off the camera and just use audio,, I hope this has answered some of your questions.....Always good talking MCM..>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
