How could it not have a control panel?? Are you running windows platform??  

You should be able to go to Dell's download site and download any OEM driver updates. Without knowing your OS, your results may be different.  But if windows, just download and follow directions on installing. pretty simple really.   Know your dell's model number, search that model and you should see the updates listed.
