ghosts are merely just a creation of the mind, for some reason i don't believe ghosts exist but i believe fairies do :)

at 12:00 midnight , get up.
close your room so it's dark
stand naked, fully naked in front of a mirror
with yellow candles in a circle around you.
stand for an hour
while whispering 'i summon you (name) spirit to appear tonight'
repeat for one thousand times
if nothing happened
repeat for another thousand times
if nothing happened repeat for another thousand times
if nothing happened , well , i'm sure you had already fallen asleep
at least something happened :)
