My late Mother visited Lourdes in the late 70s, she was plagued with a stomach ulcer problem for years, after drinking the water there she never suffered a pain again, I'm not really a believer in anything like this but I saw her suffer and I saw the "new Mum" when she returned from her holiday, strange and true.

I'm glad for her it helped and I'm glad you were able to put an answer in here and tell us a little about the famous site of Lourdes. Hope someone else here has been there or knows someone that has.
Not too many of us "Europeans" left on this site mcm,some people I know go to Lourdes every year (sort of a pilgrimage thing) not my personal thing but it seems to do them good.

thanks for your input, Julie. Yes, the movie was very well done . I've seen it about 3 X .
It got an academy award and it think it's lead actress, Jennifer Jones, got the award too.I've wanted to go to Europe since I was 12, but haven't had anybody to go with.
