    THIS IS WORTH WATCHING

I just saw a YOUTUBE video of a high school talent show.  Just a bit after one minute in, a student dances to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" and he is
A-MA-ZING. I love to see young people put in the effort to participate, so ALL the performances get an "A" from me.   ENJOY

I saw this video a few days ago. He did a fantastic job. Somehow, I don't believe he's the shyest kid in school as the caption stated.

I am awestruck. Sometimes those shy guys are the ones to look (out) for. :D

The dancing is great. The MJ "crotch grabbing move" is ugly. I hated it then and I hate it now. It has encouraged every singer, both male and female, to grab their body parts as though that is a necessary part of singing a song. Ugh.

I don't like it either, or those "signs" they make with their hands, particularly the rappers.

    And the "crooked" arms.

Speaking of rappers, I really like Pitbull.

I liked Eminem. Good stories behind the song, if you could get through all the foul words.

I can't. One of the reasons that I like Pitbull is because he always looks so happy to be entertaining. Besides his foul mouth, Eminem looks so miserably unhappy.

Very angry, and, if to believe it all, justified. Says he grew up the victim of his mother's Munchausen Syndrome, and a father who took off when Marshall was still in diapers. His marriage didn't sound fulfilling, either. I do hope time has healed some of his wounds and he's a happier "mature" adult.

    Sad.

Sure puts my life in perspective and evokes a new sense of blessing.

Yep. There are always others who are worse off. It's tough to consider that though, when you're in the middle of your own "junk".

....and looking at a year ago compared to now, I should be shouting from the rooftops with joy (except for Tess being gone)

Always something to be "sad" about as we get older. Every time I look at the obits here now, there is a name of someone that I know...a former co-worker, a former neighbor, someone I knew from a volunteer group, a friend's parent...on and on. :(

...and we do our best to make every day a good one in some small way. Never know what tomorrow will bring (if we even make it to tomorrow).
It's time to make today a good day. Son and family on their way. Had grandson yesterday, and my youngest is going to help me with some yard ideas at The Home Depot. Who could ask for anything more! :D Happy day, Ducky, you are a treasure.

Thanks Bob. Best to you and enjoy a great day. When are you going to jump in that RV? :)

It may have to be an airplane, since I have from Friday morning until Wednesday evening free time. Commitments Wed/Thurs eves. Pick me up at the airport? If I drive, I'll take a couple weeks off those commitments.

I think you might need more than a couple of weeks...a month at least...or the airport but that would be one fast trip.

Have a long weekend in San Diego coming up soon. It is a long drive, too, so will be going a day early and leaving a day late. Got my "assassin" greased and ready to kick a**.

I bet you are looking forward to that. Enjoy!

Everything but the driving! Thanks, Ducky! :D

I watched it, all of it. I’ve never seen the original (unbelievable but true) but this kid danced very well.  Gives me hope for the new generation, some of them have dedication!

Yes very good Bob,pity he droped his hat,

I think he tossed it because it was too big. It definitely would have fallen off otherwise.
