      It could alter the polarity of the t/v set,althought the dioids in the t/v circuit should prevent this happing,You will do no harm at this stage by reversing the wiring in the plug top to the correct wiring prolarity,

        Well if it hasn't yet, then probably no but unplug it and plug it in correctly.
