      I believe it's call the magnetic north.

        I've noticed that today's young folks do not demand much by way of real comedy or interesting and not overly recycled story telling. I watch only the shows I grew up with because they at least can hold my interest over the garbage out there for today's generation. The shows I hate most....reality shows. They are not real. They are staged and mostly boring.

        That could be termed a "straight line" because a compass may be used to record a span and then moving the compass to a linear ruler indicate the distance between two points.
