Well, with clean underwear, you're ready for just about anything! :D
(I actually carry an overnight bag in my trunk, with change of clothes, a few PH items...never know...)

Absolutely, I am not prepared for any emergency, although I do have a fire extinguisher, smoke alarms, and a carbon monoxide detector...and the clean underwear part, that, too.

We have a couple gallons of distilled water in the garage, is there a shelf life on that? Canned goods, Wood for the stove, Clean underweat, extra paper towels and toilet paper, always an extra propane tank, a table top stove, run by propane bottles, a bunch of flashlights and batteries, some oil lamps and oil, cell phones and chargers, a power converter for the car, a small generator and always 5 gal. of gas in can, stored out behind shed. So we are somewhat prepared for a storm, and power failure of a few days, but no bomb shelter or anything like that. Oh, and plenty of booze!

We have plenty of supplies, no bomb shelter, food, gas, propane, grills, lanterns, batteries, generator, power converter for car (It could run small appliances, like a blender for drinks!) We could survive a storm with outages for a few days, maybe a week.
