No soap but many spankings. They were very hard spankings too and today, would be considered child abuse....no doubt about it! :(

No, but I washed one of my son's mouths out with it once, when he was too lippy. My punishment was always to be put too bed, whatever time of day it was. I remember it happening once at about ten o'clock in the morning, I can't remember what I had done, but it didn't have to be much.

Lux has a pleasant aftertaste... Wasn't that the line of The Christmas Story? My daughter has just resorted to doing this to her son, twice, but not needed anymore! I remember having it done, as all of my siblings....

No, but my mom used to beat my butt with the back of a wooden hairbrush.
One of my teachers washed out a boy's mouth with soap. She made him lick the bar of soap.
When I was a kid, my next door neighbor lady washed out one of her son's mouth with soap.
