Depending on the service provider, if you are blocked, you may get a message saying "message failed". Other providers may just let the text go through but the person never receives it if they have blocked you. I personally have all text messaging tuned off on my phone because I got tired of the texts from telemarketers. Why not just call the person and ask them if they have blocked your text messages or all text messages? If they never answer your calls, that may be a good indicator that they do not wish to communicate with you.

My provider is Sprint. The numbers I have blocked I can't call or text either. They can't call or text me.  I double checked by trying to contact one of them by phone and by text. I was stopped in my tracks.  It's been a peaceful two weeks and counting...
