There will be no support because the XP format will progressively become incompatible with programs on the internet. You should get the 8.1 because it has the corrections for the issues that version 8 has. If you can find one still, I would recommend getting Windows 7 home premium. I read that the Windows 8 was a waste of money because it's very similar to Win7 and the added features are not worth the price of changing operating systems (if you already have Win7). The reviews were ugly for the Windows 8.
