I suppose I know that you can give your kitty colds, upper respitory and the such I do know that if you are sick like that it can be transmitted to your cat. But now I have cats and they have had sometimes upper respitory infections and I have had to give them antibiotics for this but yet I did not get sick at anytime they ever had it so not sure about that.

    Only bacterial sicknesses, not viral.

Zoonotic Disease at http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/brochures/ZoonoticDisease.html can help you.

The answer to your question is "No", and is coming from a former Persian-Cat Breeder--you may relax.
