My wife's late mother was 1/2 Irish, and she always had a twinkle in her eye, I attributed it to that heritage. I do not know if she was lucky, but we sure were, having her in our lives! She recently passed at age 88! RIP mom...

My condolences to you. I do not look forward to the day when my own mom passes. She's been a good supporter of mine and I value her insight. She's more than a mother, she's also my best friend.
