Where did you make the empty file? Did you make it in the camera or whatever you are trying to download the files to? If you made it in the camera then you have to move all the images into it, then download the folder. I have to assume here that you are trying to download the images to a PC. If so, you need to make a new folder in your pictures folder on your PC. Title it whatever you want it to be titled so you can find it easier. Then connect your camera to the PC and when the camera download panel opens, choose where you want the images t download to. Click the button, find your pictures folder, open it and then find the folder you made. Click it as the folder to download to.
