            Church of England. Bulletman is correct. Bloody Mary, daughter of Henry 8 and Katheryn of Aragon, was our last Catholic monarch. (Note there are many spellings of Katherine, or Catherine.)

            Vinny may be escused for being confused. Westminster Abbey is very "High Church" and he will have noticed some Catholic rituals are retained. The beliefs are very different, other than we worship the same God.

              Episcapal. They had to escape all the prying eyes, nosey parkers and wagging tongues; not to mention sanctimonious characters.
