What do you mean by damaged? If you mean your c drive is corrupted, then you have to re-install the operating system to repair it. Save whatever you can by transferring it to an external hard drive. You will lose everything when you re-install the operating system.

No, system restore can not fix a corrupted drive. Your wording is different over there apparently but as far as I can tell, it means the same...corrupt drive.
