To be frank, I link don't have a lot of references or link inspiration from link watches, Rexhepi says, before adding that he did take inspiration from pocket watches and George Daniels. Pocket watch designs inspired him to have a matte finish to his dial with contrasting polished hands and indices. Meanwhile, there's inspiration from Daniels in the movement.
