    my 42in rca l42wd22 tv the switch blinks red 5 time stops for a few seconds and blinks 5 times and would not come on.

    I tried pulling the plugs wait an hour or so and put it back and it worked until it stop and just blinking.

      The blinking light on your TV is a diagnostic tool for technicians to help understand what the problem might be. The number of times it blinks will correspond to a specific problem whether it be a bad power supply or a faulty circuit board. 


      You will need to call a service repair person.
