If you're a man, look in the yellow pages for Barbershop Quartet Singers. They've been out there for a long time. I like that close harmony too. The Beach Boys did it, and so did the Beatles ( on some songs)
My dad was in a barbarshop quartet. I LOVED it. I was in chorus all through highschool but I really don't think I can sing.l I never tried out. (I was absent that tryout day) Then I stood by a strong alto, and no one ever hear me ... I honestly don't think I can sing but I loved being out in front of people... oh, you know.
