The Maltese dog lifespan is about 12-14 years, some dog owners have reported their life expectancy to be 17 years. I had a fox terrier who lived to be 21 years old. The smaller breed dogs tend to live longer and if they are happy and healthy like yours, then they can outlive the suggested lifespan. I hope you have many more years with her.

Thank You so much Colleen for giving me an answer to my question. Molly is still running, jumping and playing so I guess she will be with us for a while longer....at least I believe so. People always say how much they love her personality...I'm blessed...thank you again....mollyboo / karen......blessings.
