How long has this been going on? If it was fine before, what if anything, is different? Is it a wireless connection? Has the software been loaded into your computer...?

Adding to Clonge's suggestions, is the printer plugged into the computer. Is it your default printer? Do both cartridges have ink? Is there paper in the paper tray?
