    I have PTSD. Why do I fight sleep?????????

    Have you been to see a doctor about this? Lack of sleep is one of the signs of this disorder. Your doctor could explain it better than I can. 

    Your Doc might refer you for CBT..(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)..often helps with PTSD!

    You might try hypnosis, this has been successful in some cases.

    Perhaps you are afraid of your dreams or something related to you PTSD.  The trick is to clear your mind as best you can before sleeping, Trick yourself into having a good night…….(see a doctor if this continues…)
